Customer's reviews..
Spice Valley provided Butter chicken, rice, naan and pakoras for a work party of 15 and everything was absolutely delicious! The food was ready on time and was still hot when placed on the table. The portions were generous with leftovers to enjoy the next day. The butter chicken was creamy with just the right amount of spice and the naan was so soft! I was met with very friendly service on the phone when ordering. I look forward to enjoying Spice Valley food again in the near future and trying new dishes.
Sauces and spices are awesome. Fish dishes are perfect. Good lamb. Beef ok. Chicken was a little dry compared to other like restaurants. Still, my favorite in Victoria by a long shot.

Fabulous Indian food in a beautiful atmosphere. Right in the heart of downtown, the prices are so reasonable for the work that goes into this delicious cuisine. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.
Great drink and wine menu - definitely try the customized cocktails. The East India Company G&T was great and unique. Food was excellent in all details - we had a different lamb curry and tandoori prawns, plus superb naan. Very friendly service and knowledgeable on the wine.

Customer's reviews..
I ordered dahi bhalla and it tasted terrible. I think it was green bhalla instead as was garnished with green chatney only rather than yogurt. I would never recommend anyone to order their snacks. Really worst experience ever had. I would not even give them one star. Its my second experience with them. You can have a look at the attached photo and can have an idea that from which angle it looks like dahi bhalla !!
Curry Club’s Aloo Puri was very delicious, soft and flavourful. There were true Indian flavours and it exceeded expectations. It was absolutely mouth watering tasty and we highly recommend. The service was exceptional! The young man and women providing the service were friendly, attentive and helpful. We for sure will be going back again soon!

Customer's reviews..
Fantastic little spot. After walking past we couldn't help but get a little curious as the aromas wafted into the street. Mmmm smelled like fish. Myself and my partner decided to stop in for a cheeky anniversary bite. After being cordially shown to our table, server Scott was very knowledgeable and helped us decide on the tuna melt, which he spoke of highly. After chatting briefly, we happened to mention it was our 6 year anniversary. Chef Carter went above and beyond and made us feel so special with his carefully crafted tuna melt. Who knew tuna could be so romantic! Can't wait to come back for our 7th.
Generous portion of fish and chips, and soup was pretty good with a nice kick of spice. For some reason the online ordering system didn’t work out for me, but enjoyed the dine in experience nonetheless as restaurant is very relaxed.

We took the take out order today and it was really yummy. The customer service was above and beyond. Megha was really kind and she helped us to decide their best menu dishes. ?
It has been a very embarrassing experience for us. As without any intimation we were charged 18% gratuity since we were 6 people ( which includes 2 toddlers) . There was no prior intimation or written rule anywhere that we will be charged 18% unnecessarily.

Great food.. robot helper..?
Visited this place on a busy Friday afternoon with my friends. The options were good and the food was okay as per buffet standards. However, desert options were kind of depressing. Pretty non existent consisting of a sad kheer and a dessert that we couldn’t figure if it was Indian or western. Portions of bread were so small that we had to order 4 times. Would not visit this place if we find a better alternative for Indian buffet.

Food is not Always fresh. I ordered Dahl in the past but this time it was tasteless, runny and watered down. This dish and Eggplant Bharta tasted like leftovers from the buffet a few days old.\\nThe Butter chicken is flavour less and made with pressed meat. The samosas are greasy, tasteless and filled with Diced Potatoes only which seem like breakfast hashbrowns. The rice is fragrant and fresh. I will not return due to variable but generally poor food quality overall.
it was all good. mango Lassi yum!

Customer's reviews..
Not that good We ordered 6 dishes and it was awful except the butter chicken that was okay…barely a pass The samosa chaat was so salty that it was barely edible… the aloo gobbi was just as salty… Kachumber salad was a tossed salad!!! Really …the public knows what a kachumber salad is!!! Shame on you for trying too fool the public! And the Raita ..was the most awful one I have ever tasted in my life! It was so runny ..it looked like skim milk ! Brutal!
This restaurant is truly an amazing place to go for an aromatic Indian food. It has very delicious dishes, we tried many and they all were super good. The service was excellent, staff is very friendly too. A MUST GO RESTAURANT!!! ❤️

Had it for the first time tonight (NYE) and damn I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it! As an East Indian woman I've had ALOT of Indian food, and theirs was amazing! Said an hour for delivery, was there in 40 mins! Highly recommend!
We were travelling and we just popped in and asked for some help, The owner were super nice and treated us some signature curry for free. The butter chicken curry was perfect?. The spinach and cheese curry was totally new to me, I tried it and I loved it. The dessert was authentic too.The shop owner was super nice, he recommended some good places for me and friends. I will definitely go there again.

Customer's reviews..
Agreable place, kind staff and delicious food! The buffet is available at lunch time and worths its cost: $ 14.90 all you can eat! Delicious food, probably one of the best Indian restaurants in Victoria!
I have enjoyed this restaurant a few times before. We’re back in town after 2 1/2 years and we’re shocked at the shabby condition of the place. Everything from the furnishings , trims and ‘decor’ needed attention. We wondered if the quality of the food had also declined so turned around and walked out. From the other reviews I’ve read this has been mentioned for a while. I wonder if the lost business (not just of ours but of others as well) would have paid for the improvements needed in the seating area and communicated care for their patrons. We headed back into town and enjoyed an excellent meal at a competitor’s place. The food was delicious and the decor was pleasant. We’ll peek in next time to see if things have improved.

Customer's reviews..
My son and I love the food here. We tried the tandoori cooked whole fish with a lovely coconut curry sauce. Perfect for sharing with rice and other vegetable dishes. Food is cooked to the strength of spice you wish so don't worry about getting overspiced dishes.
My partner and I are consistently blown away by the quality and value of the food here. We recently moved to the Langford area, and decided to try Turmeric's food about 8 months ago. Ever since, we have been ordering it at least 1-2 times a month, or walking along the goose to go have a dine in experience there as well. The food is fresh, somehow not heavy, and filled with flavour. It is the best Indian food we have ever had. We can't recommend them enough, and have been telling all of our friends and family!! Thank you to the Turmeric team for providing exceptional food and service <3

We ordered for dinner through Skip the dishes, food was okay. I was more glad that they were open and accepting orders even a little after 9 pm when some restaurants were refusing to accept new orders. Thank you.
Ordered chicken biryani and rice pudding on Skip the dishes. They took one hour to make the order and on top of it the chicken biryani hardly has any chicken in it. $17 for just rice and a small chicken piece is such a scam. Rice pudding tastes like cereal, just cooked rice in plain milk. No sweetness and no taste whatsoever. I would never order Indian food from here ever.

Customer's reviews..
Slightly above average Indian food, with warm service and added flair from their signature sizzling platters. The butter chicken and sizzling tandoor paneer dishes were good, though the latter came out burnt the first time (see picture). They quickly fixed the issue and had a fresh, properly cooked dish to replace it though.
Love the buffet! Unlimited butter chicken yes please! Friendly staff, prompt service especially considering it was busy! Will be back as soon as I can.If it matters to you the decor could be upgraded but I personally don’t mind!

Well, if I were you I would have asked about the food that I had not to have an assumption on how I felt when I left the comment , take some business courses to know how to present your costumer service and how to reply to your valued costumer!!!Thank-You
Easily the greatest Indian food inThis city. You can immediately tell that everything is made from scratch and in house too! Most places in this city serve butter chicken that taste like it was made from frozen ketchup. The butter chicken from Vij’s in Victoria tastes like it was served at the last dinner for Jesus, which ultimately killed him from such full and amazing flavour. It was gods plan to resurrect him for all eternity, but this butter chicken is so astounding that it overcame gods power and ended Jesus early. We’re left with the story that he was supposed to die After that dinner , but this is clearly made up to preserve the idea that nothing is more powerful than god, that is, until your lips meet this Masala Sauce.
