Parachute Ice Cream - Victoria $$

Customer's reviews..
Located in the more industrial side of Victoria, ice cream is one of the top choice. You can buy the ice cream by the pint for 10$. That being said, locally owned and I’ve cream made in store. There are some great flavours, favourites are carrot cake and mini eggs (when in season). The customer service has always been great when I’ve gone and despite reviews with 1 star saying it’s awful, the shop is busy due to it being popular and having good ice cream not due to lack of care from employees. Additionally I think I read that the shop was not sanitary, it looks clean every time, even when they are working on making ice cream, cones.Highly recommend!
I love ice cream, and Parachute is by far my favourite ice cream shop in Victoria. They have a variety of flavours, both 'typical' and 'unique' and you can find their pints at a bunch of local stores around town. I have always been greeted by friendly staff.Recently I went to parachute and I was disappointed to discover they have once again increased their prices and certain flavours are also an extra charge. I also feel they may have decreased their serving size as well? I understand that the cost of everything has increased, but going for a fun tasty treat is slowly becoming further out of reach.

Customer's reviews..
Ice cream enough said. always been THE place to stop for a waffle cone.
Lots of flavors, all of which were delicious. My husband is celiac, so gluten-free is not optional for him, and the lady serving us washed the scooper and took out a fresh unopened tub of ice cream for him to ensure there would be no cross-contamination. Outstanding service, and a lovely place to sit and have your ice cream.

Jackson's Ice Cream Float $
1 Dallas Rd, Victoria - V8V 0B2
Cuisines: Ice Cream Shop Ice Cream Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt
Customer's reviews..
Jackson's is open just for the summer season from May to mid-October where you can get soft ice-cream, hard ice cream, ice cream for lactose-intolerant consumers, different cones and toppings! The ice-creams are made on Vancouver Island and nice servers give generous scoops. Covid-19 protocols are in place: servers are behind plexiglass, wearing masks, have markers on the floor for socially-distanced queue, sanitization station and contact-free tap credit card payment. I felt very safe. Lovely views of the Wharf, green park nearby, other yummy restaurants there...definitely a casual tourist stop on a sunny day. The shop may not be open on a rainy day so check their Facebook that morning if you plan to go there for ice cream that day.
So, this is a tough one. Delicious ice cream, great service, reasonably priced and portioned. But an environmental blemish on the Wharf. Clearly the Wharf is trying to encourage a zero pollution solution. Placing a general waste bin in front of your establishment just encourages pollution. Had to swallow a lot of pride and great ice cream to give 4 stars.

Vanilla cookie dough ice cream tasted like cotton candy because they didn't feel like scraping it off the surface from the previous customer... Just mixed it in with the next one instead.
Wow!! Amazing products and prices. I really like the double chocolate flavour and my buddy love the cookie dough flavour so much that he have it almost every day. Staff is also very good and they make my ice cream fast and perfect.

Momo Tea $
762 Yates St, Victoria - V8W 1L4
Cuisines: Ice Cream Shop Ice Cream Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt
Customer's reviews..
We went to this place Monday (Aug 16) evening. The soft ice cream was excellent! Chocolate Trio and Rainbow Candy both were not too sweet compared to any other ice cream we've had before. The owner was super nice and accomodating and would answer our questions regarding the ice cream despite being busy and knows his product very well. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Victoria to try out this place.
Accidentally ordered the wrong thing because the only difference between two completely different drinks was the words milk and tea, they were very rude about it and made a huge fuss. They remade it, it was still disappointing. The one I originally got was barely sweet, the boba was tough and barely cooked. The second one I got was a brown sugar milk Boba, could barely taste the brown sugar, and the Boba was again not cooked. Will never be going here again because the rude staff and the honestly mediocre bubble tea.

Cuisines: Ice Cream Shop Ice Cream Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt
Customer's reviews..
The Belgian chocolate was good. I did not enjoy the 3 in one flavor composed of pistachio, vanilla and chocolate
Last week, I visited in Victoria and bought 33 icewine tea boxes and 50 maple cookies in Oh Gelato. After coming back to my country, I saw the best before date on the tea boxes is 20/06/2020. It passes almost 2 years.I can't give these items to my friends and it costs about CAD$198. Just feel terrible now.
