Delicious bubbles (chewy and soft and sweet) and lovely service
Stopped in for a milk tea this evening and was pleasantly surprised with the smoothness of the Empress Milk Tea. There are options to choose a split cup to try out two separate flavours. Staff is helpful, informative and friendly. Would be back.

The Bubble Tea Place $
532 Fisgard St, Victoria - V8W 1R5
Cuisines: Bubble Tea
Customer's reviews..
Lots of fruity drinks for tourists. No good options for milk tea.
There are many options here and the menu is very expansive so you may have a hard time picking. The drink was tasty - green tea milk taro and papaya. Definitely had a strong papaya flavor.Pros: the pearls were very fresh, warm sweet and chewy. The prices are all the same from 5 to 7 dollars (for a large)It appeared most drinks used syrups so don't expect fresh fruit teas/slushes - although it reminds me of bubble teas in the earlier years.Line up veryyy long (it's popular place) but the bubbleteastas work very quickly and efficiently.

Hope Key Restaurant $
1313 Douglas St, Victoria - V8W 2E9
Cuisines: Chinese Bubble Tea
Customer's reviews..
Looking in from the street the restaurant looks dim and unspecial, but once you're inside you'll find a cozy dining environment with super friendly staff. We came here for the dinner buffet with a deal from the Entertainment Book. The owner happily accepted it and was very kind showing us all the different kinds of Chinese food they served. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here. The food reminded me of home. I would definitely come here again on my next visit to Victoria!
Decently authentic Cantonese food, ridiculously outstanding service!I didn’t have high expectations of this restaurant given its location, but what a nice surprise!Google review did not disappoint, the service was second to none, we honestly felt like having dined at a friend’s house. Everyone was so friendly, served us spring rolls on the house, gave my parents bubble tea samplers, took time to chat with us, and made sure to make the food extra soft for my senior parents. The decor is quite charming, there is a world map where customers pin where they are from on the map, it’s almost full. :)

Xing Fu Tang 幸福堂 608 Broughton Street Victoria $
608 Broughton St Unit 100, Victoria - V8W 1C7
Cuisines: Bubble Tea
Customer's reviews..
Stopped in for the first time today and it was…good. The staff was great, and fast, but the boba with ice cream was slightly underwhelming. It needed to be a touch sweeter. The flavours of dalgona and brown sugar boba were good, but not the best we’ve had.
Would not recommended. Very rude service. They do not know what customer service is and don't care about the customers' need. We asked for a receipt but the girl said they cannot provide it because we did not press a button on the credit card machine for a receipt. There is no instruction of how to get a receipt on the machine. Also, it is their machine not mine. It is their responsibility to provide and generate the receipt for the customer. Why do the customers need to know how to operate their machine? Plus, the drink are overpriced. Will not return at all.

Ordered Half Mango Slush... pretty bad and just too expensive.. better to go to other bubble tea store.. Half Mango Slush for 8$...
They advertise on posters special offers & prices, but when they ring it on the computer you pay $1+ more. They need to be way more specific on their offers. I waited over 30 minutes for them to correctly charge me the advertised $6.66. They refused. In Canada this is not proper to advertise one price and refuse to honour it to the customer.Section 74.05 of the Competition Act is a civil provision. It prohibits the sale or rent of a product at a price higher than its advertised price.*the date on poster has no reference around it. Doesn't say offer from a specific date range. Why keep these posters up if they're expired? it's deceptive and wrong

Chi Cha Teahouse $$
1805 Fort St, Victoria - V8R 4R7
Cuisines: Bubble Tea
Customer's reviews..
This is a lovely tea house that serves really unique tea based beverages. Their tea is really high quality and I love their drinks! I tried one of their cheesecake mousse teas, Phoenix Oolong. It’s a delicious traditional oolong tea topped with this tasty cheesecake mousse. I also tried one of fresh fruit teas, the Dragon Peach which was an iced tea with real fruit pieces. I’m looking forward for more evening walks to get tea here.
Terrible service. I ordered a bubble tea at 0650pm may31. I politely asked him that could he remove the ice, sorry that I forgot to mention it. He responded angrily saying “Say it earlier next time”. Angrily remove the ice. Slam the bubble tea on the counter. And threw the straw. Will never visit again, never seen such terrible service attitude before

Wow! Didn't expect to find a good milk tea Victoria!!! This place is really great! The pearls are a little too sweet but I also am somebody who prefers a nice bitter drink.
